Location
Leopard Rock is located in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, comprising 70 000 hectares of pristine African bushveld, just south of the small town of Derdepoort and stretching westwards along the Botswana border. The reserve is one of South Africa’s largest and most popular game reserves, with a vast array of wildlife species including the big 5 as well as wonderful and varied birdlife.

Leopard Rock is easily accessible.
By Road – Approximately 4 hours from Johannesburg , 1.5 hours from Sun City and 2 hours from Rustenberg. A private road transfer can be arranged (prices on request).
By Air – Daily morning charter flights from Johannesburg International (OR Tambo) Airport to Madikwe air strip (prices on request). Private plane and helicopter transfer can be arranged (prices on request).
Accommodation
Leopard Rock is situated on a rocky outcrop on a low hill overlooking the bush on all sides. There are 5 separate double / twin thatched cottages within 50 yards of the main lodge. Each has its own bathroom, rock shower, sitting room and verandah. |
